Restoring the Kannally Ranch House

One of FOSP’s primary goals has been the restoration and enhancement of the historic Kannally Ranch house, gardens and grounds, in line with recognized historic preservation standards.

Over the years, we have worked with architectural history and restoration experts, as well as master gardeners, local tradespeople and skilled FOSP members on fixing paint, plaster and woodwork, installing a brick patio, establishing and maintaining native-species gardens, providing artifact storage and visitor amenities.

Currently, we are working on structural and surface repairs to the Sisters’ Cottages. We also regularly engage in improving and maintaining visitor trails, as well as help to sponsor wildfire clearance.
