Enriching Community
The Friends works hand in hand with Oracle State Park on its educational programs and cultural festivities. Throughout the year, we both sponsor and help out at a wide array of lectures, guided walks, concerts, and family adventures. (See the Oracle State Park program schedule to learn more.)
A sample of recent programs in which we have been involved include Bat Night, How to Recognize Desert Legumes, the Park’s Annual Calabazas Festival, guided walks on lizards, geology, plant legumes and butterflies, an expert-led and several open-air music concerts.
