Welcome to the New Park Ranger

Join us in welcoming the new Oracle State Park Ranger, Sinda Sutton, into the fold. Sinda comes to us from nationally-known Kartchner Caverns State Park. (Kartchner like Oracle is an International Dark Sky Park.) She was responsible first for their Environmental Education and then for their Interpretation Programming. We asked Sinda to say a few words about herself.

“I am very excited to be part of the Oracle State Park team. The views here are picturesque and the history of the Kannally family is very intriguing. I look forward to sharing this amazing place with the park's visitors!

"Growing up in Arizona, I have always loved our state's diverse resources and felt a passion to show their beauty to others. Being a park ranger for almost ten years has given me the chance to share some of the Arizona's wonderful State Parks and Trails through nature programs, guided tours, and community outreach. I am excited to start this next adventure in my career and look forward to what the future has to offer here at Oracle."

Sinda's experience and skills are an excellent fit for Oracle State Park. We very much look forward to working with her and the rest of the Oracle State Park team (Ethan Finch, Jon McClard, Leonard Garcia, and our many volunteers and supporters).
