Oracle State Park Events...

From nature walks, history talks and wild-food demos to outdoor concerts and festivals, the Park offers programs for all ages and interests. Programs include bird walks, kids’ funtime activities, nighttime star parties, trail runs, talks on bats, bighorns, bears and minerals, and so much more!

Year-Round Park Activities

  • Explore the Historic Kannally Ranch House
    The Kannally Ranch House is a multi-terraced adobe structure built in the Spanish Revival style in 1929. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.Visitors can take self-guided tours on Saturdays and Sundays; guided tours can be arranged by reservation (520-896-2425).

  • Explore the Park’s Amazing Trails
    Rangers helped by volunteers have created a series of scenic hiking trails for all levels of ability. Wander down arroyos and through stands of oak and open grasslands. Explore the mysterious boulder cairns and take in breathtaking views of the Galiuros. Find out more.

  • View the Work of Cowboy Artist Lee Kannally
    Visit this exhibit of one-of-a-kind paintings by self-taught cowboy artist Lee Kannally. Influenced by the French Impressionists (works by whom Kannally likely encountered as a WWI soldier), his subjects ranged from cowboys and round-ups to ballerinas! Nearly 30 oils are on display, including 24 on loan from the Oracle Historical Society and the remainder from the FOSP collections.
